Bathroom Flooring Installation

Bathroom flooring takes more abuse than any other floor in the house — constant moisture, temperature fluctuations, cleaning chemicals, and heavy foot traffic. A Kitchen & Bath Remolding installs flooring materials chosen and installed specifically for that environment: porcelain and ceramic tile, natural stone, and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) with waterproof cores and proper underlayment for bathroom subfloors.

Every floor project begins with subfloor assessment. We check for soft spots, squeaks, and levelness before any material goes down. Uneven subfloors are floated level with self-leveling compound; soft or damaged sections of plywood are replaced. For tile installations, cement backer board is fastened and taped before mortar is applied. For LVP, an appropriate moisture-barrier underlayment is used over the subfloor to prevent adhesive failure and warping at the edges.
